About Me

First things first - a little bit about me.

When the world shut down in 2020, I found myself needing a creative outlet. I scrolled through Instagram and Facebook day in and day out and enjoyed seeing all the content people were creating and sharing. I came across a girl on Instagram teaching people how to get more views and engagement on their content.

So I made my dogs an Instagram account to test the waters. One of my first reels reached over 30,000 people and that really excited me.

I decided to dive deeper into social media marketing and eventually got a local business to take a chance on me as their Social Media Coordinator in 2021. In 2022, I started a job as the Media and Communications Director at a local church. It was in that position that I finally realized digital marketing is my passion and the career path I desire to pursue. This year, I decided to further my knowledge by taking a Digital Marketing Science certification course that includes these topics: social media marketing, email marketing, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics 4, marketing automation, content marketing, marketing plans, and LinkedIn storytelling.

I love how digital marketing marries creativity, numbers, and the latest technology, and I'm thrilled to see where this path will take me!

Here are some of the things I've been able to accomplish within digital marketing:
  • Grew Facebook reach by 45.7% and page visits by 76.9% by developing graphic templates for consistent messaging over 28 days.
  • Increased church attendance by ~40% on Easter Sunday by developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing campaign, including paid and organic social, email, mailers, billboard, and fliers.
  • Increased call extension clicks by 100%, website visits by 100%, and location extension clicks by 71% over 90 days by implementing paid ads on Google and Facebook.
